Nikhil Mahajan

Mr. Mahajan joined City National Rochdale in 2011. He works as a Senior Equity Analyst within the U.S. Core Equity team. He leads research efforts on companies across a multitude of industries, such as industrials, energy and financials, with an underlying focus on business quality, growth, management and valuation.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Mahajan worked at a boutique investment management firm researching Technology companies. Before that Mr. Mahajan worked at Fidelity Investments. Growing up Mr. Mahajan assisted in overseeing a family owned business.

Mr. Mahajan has a Bachelor of Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology and earned his MBA from Washington University in St. Louis. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst^® designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the New York Society of Security Analysts. Mr. Mahajan is an avid reader of business histories, investing letters, biographies, science, philosophy, etc. Apart from spending time with family and friends, Mr. Mahajan enjoys volunteering, teaching, listening to music/podcasts and travelling widely to explore different cultures.
